- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup cashew nuts, soaked and ground to a paste
- 1/2 cup fresh cream
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp kasuri methi (dried fenugreek leaves)
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Method:
- In a mixing bowl, combine grated radish, paneer, besan, ginger-garlic paste, green chilli, turmeric powder, garam masala, and salt. Mix well to form a dough.
- Shape the mixture into small, round koftas and deep fry them until golden brown. Set aside.
- In a separate pan, heat oil and add cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
- Add tomato puree, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, and coriander powder. Cook until the oil separates from the masala.
- Add cashew paste, fresh cream, and kasuri methi. Stir well and cook for a few minutes.
- Gently place the fried koftas into the gravy, ensuring they are well coated. Simmer for 5-7 minutes.
