- 2 medium bitter gourds (karela), finely chopped
- 2 cups whole wheat flour (atta)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon garam masala powder

- 1/4 teaspoon coriander powder (dhania)

- 1/2 cup lukewarm water

Method
- Squeeze out as much water as possible from the chopped bitter gourd using a cheesecloth or a fine mesh sieve. This step is crucial to remove excess bitterness.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the whole wheat flour, salt, baking powder, garam masala powder, cumin seeds, coriander powder, turmeric powder, and red chili powder (if using).
- Add the squeezed bitter gourd to the flour mixture and mix well.

- Gradually add the lukewarm water and knead the dough for about 5-7 minutes until it becomes smooth and pliable.
