Ingredients:
- 250 gm ladyfingers (bhindi)
- 1 cup gram flour (besan)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon red chilli powder
- 1/4 teaspoon garam masala powder
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1/4 cup water
- Vegetable oil for frying
- Chopped fresh coriander for garnish
Method:
- Wash the ladyfingers and pat them dry with a paper towel.
- In a large bowl, mix together gram flour, salt, baking soda, red chilli powder, and garam masala powder.
- Add lemon juice and water to the bowl and mix well to form a smooth batter.
- Dip each ladyfinger into the batter, coating it evenly, and then slide it into hot oil.
- Fry the ladyfingers until they are golden brown and crispy.
- Drain the pakoras on paper towels and serve hot with a sprinkle of chopped coriander.
