- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

1. Preparing the Lentil Paste:
- Rinse and soak urad dal in water for 4-6 hours.
- Grind soaked urad dal, green chilies, and ginger into a smooth paste without adding much water.

- In a mixing bowl, combine whole wheat flour, asafoetida, cumin seeds, fennel seeds, red chili powder, garam masala, salt, and the lentil paste.
- Knead into a firm and smooth dough. Let it rest for 30 minutes.
