Ingredients:
- 800g black beans, boiled, drained and rinsed
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup finely chopped red onion
- 1/2 cup finely chopped bell peppers (mix of colours – red, yellow, green)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons tomato ketchup
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro (coriander)
- 4 burger buns

Method:
- In a large bowl, mash the black beans with a fork or potato masher, leaving some chunks for texture.
